On most days, a Tableau developer has questions.
When I was getting started with my Tableau career, I found myself loaded with questions—and no one to ask.
I tried different videos, blogs, and books, but my issue was that nothing felt like it was exactly suited for what I was trying to learn. There was a lot of generalized information to learn from, but what about my questions? I just wanted someone to talk to that could help me find my way and share what they’d learned, too.
That's why I’ve created this mentoring program—in hopes of helping fellow Tableau developers make sense of what can be a very confusing world to break into.
These questions may involve something to do with:
- Career guidance when starting/switching to Tableau
- Learning Tableau from basics to advanced
- Real-time project scenarios
- Overwhelming information everywhere and not knowing a structure to learn Tableau
- Dashboard feedback
- Answering real-time/ tough questions in Interviews
- Storytelling, Advanced calculations, LOD, Performance tuning
- Best practices in data visualization
- Tableau certification
- Participate in Visualization challenges
- Best chart to visualize
And the natural response to such a situation is to try and find the answers via the Internet. But often the answers online are unpredictable and contradictory.
What’s worse is that the source of the information can’t always be trusted. There’s often no other trusted source you can turn to, to ask for an opinion.
Good news, you can solve all of those problems in this mentoring program.
This is a mentoring program conducted through a private slack community where you can ask any Tableau, Data visualization, Storytelling and career growth related questions directly to me and I will answer them promptly.
With the private slack community, not only you can fast-track your Tableau career growth, you also get access to an amazing like-minded community, make friends and move ahead. And it’s a place that’s safe and warm for introverts like you and me.
In this community you will find:
- Information that’s specific to your current and future Tableau needs.
- Career growth ideas
- Interview tips
- People with kind eyes and steely determination.
- Self-improvement strategies.
